Google Wallet setup
How Google Wallet passes work on Shakewell Wallet: who manages the issuer credentials, how customers add a pass on Android, and how updates are delivered.

Shakewell creates and updates Google Wallet passes through its own Google Wallet integration, so you do not manage service accounts or issuer classes.
What Shakewell handles
- Google Wallet service-account credentials, kept in encrypted secret storage.
- Creating the pass class for each template and the pass object for each customer.
- Pushing changes and messages to the saved pass.
How a pass reaches the phone
- You create the pass or the customer submits the signup form.
- The universal install link opens Save to Google Wallet on Android.
- After saving, the pass counts as installed and receives updates.
One API call issues a pass that works on both wallets; the install link picks the right one for the device.
