Shakewell Wallet exists because we kept hitting the same wall building loyalty programs for Shakewell Agency clients — plastic cards lost, email punch cards ignored, and no way to put a brand into the phone people already carry.
Shakewell Agency has built loyalty and CRM programs for hospitality, retail, and events brands for years. The pattern was always the same: a well-designed program would launch, customers would engage for a week, and then the plastic card would end up in a drawer or the email punch-card would get archived. The mechanism for staying with the customer was broken.
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet changed the equation. A pass on the lock screen, updated from the cloud, with push notifications tied to the brand — that was the layer the programs had been missing. We started building wallet integrations into client work, and the same pieces kept getting rebuilt: pass templates, the signing pipeline, the distribution flow, the analytics. So we spun the platform out as a product.
Today Shakewell Wallet is used by cafes, gyms, member clubs, event organisers, and multi-location retailers across Australia and beyond. The Shakewell Agency team is still our most demanding customer — every feature we ship has to survive their client work before it ships to yours.
