Can I sell gift cards through this?
Shakewell Wallet issues and manages the gift card pass. Taking payment is handled by your own checkout or shop, then you issue the pass, for example with the REST API.
What is the difference between a coupon and a loyalty card?
A coupon is a specific offer, such as a discount, that a customer redeems. A loyalty card tracks ongoing activity such as points or stamps. Each has its own template type.
Do customers need an app?
No. Both pass types are added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Can I send a reminder before a coupon expires?
Yes. You can send push notifications to passholders, including segment-based sends on the Growth plan and above.
