Do my customers need to download an app?

No. Passes go straight into the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet already on their phone. Customers sign up from a hosted link, QR code or embedded form and add the card in two taps.
No. Both wallets are built into modern phones, so there is nothing to download, no account to create and no password to forget.
What the customer does
- Scans your QR code or taps your link.
- Fills in the short signup form you set up.
- Taps to add the card to Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android.
After that the card sits with their other cards and can be updated and sent messages without any app.
